Come Home to Yourself

Darkness, feels like the warm blanket of my life,

Alone, my steps illuminate the night,

My reflection, she's my best friend,

My light, the eyes that looked beyond my circumstance,

My voice, spoke spells to correct my frequency,

Just when the world thought it had me,

My arms wrapped around me,

My hands, have done everything to help me.

I went alone,

To a place where people lose all hope,

Survived the gutter lows,

I was there, I was there for me,

Heaven knows, you missed all my mishaps, 

Didn't witness the wickedness you wished for me,

No safe place under the sky to hide,

I built walls regal high,

New Kingdom.

New foundation,

New temple for my soul, 

My inner world has spiritually grown,

New mindset,

Secrets divinely taught in solitude,

New tools to rebuild,

Grace will always circle my crown,

I graduated, a Goddess.

I hope my ego never keeps me away from who I truly love. - Ms. Casila 

There is nothing left to prove,

I have proven to myself,

That it is I, that has snuffed out the flame,

What evermore is there to do,

I have lost,

The eyes that illuminated my life,

A connection impossible to duplicate,

No one will ever be you.

My ego has massed itself over my heart,

I am not who I truly am, 

In all my reflections, 

I don't see the life, 

I wanted to create with you.

 

My ego has wrecked mayhem,

My days, a blurred monotonous version 

Robotically lived in autopilot, 

Accompanied by the partner

I have chosen on this world stage,

Over you!

My heart knows, 

It has lost, 

It's beginning to talk,

Complicates every f*cking thing that I'm faking I want, 

I've masked it for years, 

Practicing every chance I get, to show the people

"I've moved on"

"Look at my accomplishments"

All I ever wanted, was to do everything with you.

You won! 

Love always wins! 

It wins with remembrance,

It wins when I hide your smile in my eyes,

You win every time I win!

I hope it gets back to you!
