Scattered Showers forecasted for tomorrow,
Wash the salt on sidewalks after interviews.
From the faucet coughing out of project housing,
You fill your cup to sip brown flavored water,
While you amuse yourself at the park of the unemployment line.
Children flip on old mattresses,
Expired after adult tapes.
Young girls make ponytails with pretty print thongs,
Kissing older men,
Their hair don't stay up for long.
Another poem to read: The Woman in Apt. 222
