I remember that night,
One look back, to hold my eyes,
I knew that was goodbye,
Dunking soiled underwear in a bucket,
Washing away the guilt,
Nobody’s perfect,
Submerged in water, bathed clean,
Silk nightgown, clean sheets,
A fluffed pillow and binaural beats,
Music therapy.
