Sunset

Come noon,
I search for you
With love, you’re perfected in my eyes
Even the unbalance of admiration
I justify.
For you, I excuse the way you prioritize
I’m always planning to be last,
For you, I carry hope
Everyday adding more love,
To the lackluster love,
That we really have.

Come afternoon,
When the sun is at its highest point
I hope that our love is restored,
I wonder if it’s just a phase
A rough patch that we’re in,
So when I watch the sunset,
I pray for things to change.
At the end of the day
I’m still in love with you,
Always and forever,
Sunrise,
Sunset.
